HouseofDixon Fire photos posted!!!
I have posted a large group of photos from our summer of rebuilding the houseofdixon after the fire. Starting with photos of the aftermath then photos of the demolition process and finally the rebuilding. I still have photos that need uploaded showing the completed houseofdixon, but these should give you a good idea how we spent our last 7 months.
When you click on the photos it will take you to the full photo gallery for that portion of the house fire process.

Cabinets, Floors, Carpet, Lights, Ceiling Fans…
It’s all coming together!!!! We walked into our house tonight after work and flipped on the light switch and guess what…lights came on. The carpet & linoleum floors have been installed! We are excited that this whole process is about to come to a close. During our last meeting with our builder, we asked about the projected finish time. He said it could be as early as 3 weeks. That was thursday Oct. 19th. So its possible that we’ll be finishing up sometime around Nov. 10. We are very excited. So for all you who want to know, we’re planning to do some kind of Open House or House Warming Party, whichever you’re supposed to do in these situations.
I took some pictures of almost all of the rooms, so take a look at them.

It Looks like a house!!! We are now at a point where our house is taking shape. Tiff & I were over there at lunch today, and they were putting in the windows and doors, so that should be done this Monday. Check it out below. I love the gables in the front of the house. I always thought it looked boring on the outside, now it has character…

We have begun the building process at our house. Right now, the builders should be finishing up the framing on the interior walls and starting to frame the roof. On saturday, we went over and took some pictures of the progress so far…
